Chilwa Minerals Ltd, a company focused on mineral sands exploration in Malawi, has actively pursued exploration and metallurgical testwork on its Mposa Deposit, part of the Chilwa Heavy Minerals Sands Project. The company reported a strong cash position of $4.8 million at the end of March and has extended its infrastructure and support agreement with Mota Engil for two additional years. Community engagement and preliminary exploration of new target areas are also underway, signaling progress in their operations.
