The latest update is out from Chibougamau Independent Mines ( (TSE:CBG) ).
Chibougamau Independent Mines reported that partner TomaGold has resumed drilling at the Berrigan zinc-gold-silver property in Québec, extending five recent holes to test a newly discovered mineralized zone beneath the previously known Berrigan horizon. The program targets the depth interval where earlier hole TOM-25-015 returned long intervals of high-grade zinc-equivalent mineralization, including notable gold and silver values, underscoring the potential to significantly expand the mineralized envelope on the optioned property.
Phase 1 drilling by TomaGold at Berrigan had already delivered multiple broad and high-grade intersections across several holes, demonstrating continuity of polymetallic mineralization and supporting the case for further systematic exploration. The renewed drilling campaign strengthens the strategic value of Chibougamau’s Berrigan asset under option, potentially enhancing the project’s future development prospects and the company’s positioning within the regional base and precious metals exploration sector.
