Chesapeake Gold Discovers Extended Gold Zone

Chesapeake Gold (TSE:CKG) has released an update.

Chesapeake Gold Corp. has successfully expanded the gold-mineralized zone at its Lucy Project in Sinaloa, Mexico, by 200 meters, achieving high-grade gold intersections such as 5.2 grams per ton over 6 meters from surface. The exploration results point to a promising expansion of the mineralized system, now spanning 700 meters, with further potential as indicated by ongoing soil and rock sampling. The company’s Phase 2 drilling campaign and comprehensive surveys suggest a larger and robust gold presence at the site.
