Chemring Group PLC, in partnership with the Norwegian Government, is conducting a feasibility study for a new production facility aimed at boosting the production of military explosives. The initiative, supported by government co-funding, responds to Europe’s increasing demand for high explosives, highlighting Chemring Nobel’s vital role in supporting NATO and European allies. The study, concluding by end of 2024, will encompass site location, infrastructure, environmental impact, and government financial involvement.
