Check-Cap ( (MBAI) ) has issued an update.

On January 23, 2026, Check-Cap Ltd. reported that it believes it has regained compliance with Nasdaq’s minimum stockholders’ equity requirement of $2.5 million under Listing Rule 5550(b)(1), following a prior deficiency notice received on September 3, 2025. The company disclosed that, after fully impairing a loan receivable from Apollo Technology Capital Corporation based on conditions as of December 31, 2024, it reinstated the recoverable portion of that loan in preparing its financial statements for the six months ended June 30, 2025, resulting in stockholders’ equity exceeding $2.5 million as reflected in the unaudited financials furnished on December 30, 2025 and as of the current filing date. Nasdaq will continue to monitor Check-Cap’s compliance, and while the company could still face delisting if future reports show a shortfall, management currently expects to remain in compliance at the time of its next periodic filing, offering some reassurance to shareholders about the company’s near-term listing status.
