Chatham Rock Phosphate (TSE:NZP) has released an update.

Chatham Rock Phosphate Limited has advanced the permitting process for its Korella North Mine by securing agreements with the native title holder and the landholder for the proposed 118.62 ha mining area. The agreements, essential for the Mining Lease grant, include access provisions over adjoining infrastructure and have been submitted to the Queensland Department of Resources. With all necessary approvals, the Mining Lease could be granted as early as August 17, 2024, for an initial 10-year term with options for renewal.
