Chatham Rock Phosphate Advances Mining Lease

Chatham Rock Phosphate Limited (TSE:NZP) has released an update.

Chatham Rock Phosphate Limited has announced progress on the Korella North Mine’s permitting process, with key legal agreements signed and a Notice of Intention to Grant Mining Lease advertised. The mine, located near Phosphate Hill, is advancing toward a 10-year mining lease under Queensland law, which includes the possibility of renewal. CRP is also working on securing necessary consents for mine access, with evaluations and agreements in process with Queensland Rail and Cloncurry Shire Council.
