Chatham Rock Phosphate Limited has applied for its Chatham Rise project to be included in New Zealand’s Fast Track Consenting Bill, aiming to expedite the resource approval process. The new regime, part of a government coalition agreement, could significantly reduce the time and cost of securing permits for major projects.
