The latest announcement is out from Chariot Corporation Limited ( (AU:CC9) ).
Chariot Resources has confirmed the presence of spodumene in all six previously disclosed verification samples from its Fonlo and Iganna lithium projects in southwest Nigeria, based on independent quantitative mineralogical testwork by the University of British Columbia. The analysis also identified significant pollucite in the highest-caesium Iganna samples, reinforcing the interpretation of these areas as lithium-caesium-tantalum pegmatite systems.
These results strengthen Chariot’s geological understanding of the Fonlo and Iganna projects and provide a clearer technical basis for planned metallurgical testwork. While the findings highlight the presence of key lithium and caesium minerals, the company notes that further systematic metallurgical, geological and drilling work will be required to assess mineralisation continuity, recoveries and potential project scale for stakeholders.
