Challenger ( (AU:CGF) ) has provided an update.
Challenger Limited will redeem all outstanding Challenger Capital Notes 3 on 25 May 2026 at their A$100 face value in cash, following approval from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority. A final distribution of $1.47 per note is expected to be paid for the period to 25 May 2026, with the last trading day for the notes on the ASX anticipated to be 13 May 2026.
The redemption affects only Challenger Capital Notes 3 and does not signal any commitment by Challenger to redeem other capital instruments in future, which would also require separate regulatory approval. The move streamlines Challenger’s capital structure while providing certainty on returns and exit timing for noteholders ahead of the notes’ removal from trading.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:CGF) stock is a Hold with a A$8.60 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Challenger stock, see the AU:CGF Stock Forecast page.
