Cerro de Pasco Resources Inc. has been granted a groundbreaking authorization by the Peruvian Ministry of Energy and Mines to initiate exploration activities in the Quiulacocha Tailings, marking a first for Peru’s mining sector. The company has commenced Phase I drilling and completed initial geophysical studies to map the tailings deposit. These developments pave the way for assessing the value of the tailings and devising a comprehensive master plan for the resource.
