Cerrado Gold Faces Cease Trade Order Amid Audit Delays

Cerrado Gold Inc (TSE:CERT) has released an update.

Cerrado Gold Inc. has been issued a cease trade order by the Ontario Securities Commission due to a delay in filing their annual financial statements and management discussion. The delay, attributed to the need for additional audit time by KPMG LLP, has not been caused by any disagreements over accounting practices. The company is working closely with auditors to resolve the issue and expects to complete the necessary filings by May 15th, 2024.
