Century Lithium ( (TSE:LCE) ) has issued an announcement.

Century Lithium has filed an updated NI 43-101 technical report supporting the feasibility study for its 100%-owned Angel Island lithium project in Nevada, incorporating fresh metallurgical work, engineering optimization, and revised mine planning and cost estimates. Based on a lithium carbonate price assumption of $24,000 per tonne, the study outlines an after-tax NPV of $4.01 billion at an 8% discount rate and an internal rate of return of 27.4%, highlighting robust economics for a major U.S. lithium development.

The feasibility study envisions a large, long-life operation with proven and probable reserves backing a mine life of more than 60 years and an economic evaluation over a 40-year schedule producing about 26,500 tonnes of battery-grade lithium carbonate annually, ramping from 7,500 to 15,000 tonnes per day of throughput in year five. Phase 1 and Phase 2 capital costs are estimated at $997 million and $660 million respectively, while integrated processing and co-production of surplus sodium hydroxide are expected to generate substantial by-product revenue, potentially driving net operating costs for lithium carbonate below zero and strengthening Century Lithium’s position as a strategic domestic supplier to the EV and battery sectors.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:LCE) stock is a Buy with a C$2.35 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Century Lithium stock, see the TSE:LCE Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on TSE:LCE Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSE:LCE is a Neutral.

The score is driven primarily by a strong, low-leverage balance sheet that reduces solvency risk, offset by the company’s pre-revenue status with continued losses and negative free cash flow. Technicals are supportive due to strong trend momentum, but overbought readings temper the outlook. Valuation is constrained by negative earnings and no indicated dividend yield.

More about Century Lithium

Century Lithium Corp. is an advanced-stage lithium development company focused on its 100%-owned Angel Island (Clayton Valley) lithium project in Esmeralda County, Nevada. The project hosts one of the largest known sedimentary lithium deposits in the United States and is designed as an integrated, end-to-end operation producing battery-grade lithium carbonate and sodium hydroxide for electric vehicle and energy storage markets.

The company has developed a patent-pending flowsheet combining hydrochloric acid leaching, direct lithium extraction, and a chlor-alkali process to manufacture lithium carbonate on site while generating sodium hydroxide as a co-product. This configuration aims to cut operating costs, reduce reliance on external reagents, and lessen environmental impacts, as Century Lithium advances the project through the permitting stage and trades in Canada, the U.S., and Germany.
