Centrica (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica PLC has actively continued its share buyback program, purchasing 251,362 of its own shares on September 11, 2024, through Goldman Sachs International, at an average price of 118.1900 pence per share. These shares will be retained as treasury shares, contributing to the total of 14,325,083 shares bought back since the program’s announcement on August 8, 2024. Following the transaction, the company holds over 448 million shares in treasury, reducing the number of shares in issue (excluding those held in treasury).
