Centrica (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica plc has continued its share buyback programme, acquiring 10,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 122.5200 pence each, which will now be held as treasury shares. This latest purchase is part of a larger buyback effort that began on 8 August 2024, amounting to a total expenditure of approximately £14.8 million for 11.6 million shares. The company’s total number of shares in issue, excluding those held in treasury, stands at over 5.2 billion.
