Centrica PLC has continued its share buyback program, purchasing 168,209 shares at an average price of 117.4700 pence per share, which will be held in treasury. This latest transaction is part of a larger initiative announced earlier in August, with the company having bought back over 14 million shares for nearly £18.3 million. Post-purchase, Centrica’s treasury shares total reaches 448,874,520, excluding from the total issued shares count.
