Centrica PLC has continued its share buyback program, purchasing 1,430,192 of its own ordinary shares on September 3, 2024, at an average price of 126.7600 pence per share. These shares will be added to its treasury, with the company holding a total of 445,558,286 shares in treasury after this transaction. Overall, since the buyback program’s announcement on August 8, 2024, Centrica has bought back over 11 million shares, spending more than £14 million.
