Centrica plc has continued its share buyback program, purchasing 226,519 of its own shares through Goldman Sachs International at an average price of 119.1600 pence per share. This recent acquisition is part of a larger initiative that began on August 8, 2024, which has seen the company buy back over 17 million shares for nearly £22 million. Post-purchase, Centrica holds over 451 million shares in treasury, reducing the shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) to approximately 5.2 billion.
