CENTRAL REIT Investment Corporation will acquire a 10% quasi-co-ownership interest in the ENISHIO MEIEKI office property and the Kamimaezu KD Building in Nagoya for a combined anticipated price of ¥6.73 billion, funded through new investment units, regional bank borrowings and cash on hand. The deals, executed with related-party Meitetsu City Design and XYMAX TOKAI under approved governance procedures, mark the first external growth step under CENTRAL REIT’s new double-sponsor structure and are expected to expand its portfolio to ¥50.5 billion across 20 properties, increase exposure to the Nagoya area and reinforce a stable, diversified earnings base over the medium to long term.

The ENISHIO MEIEKI asset offers high-grade office space directly connected to Nagoya Station’s underground mall, strong visibility on Nishiki-dori Avenue, flexible multi-tenant floor layouts and modern work features such as floor-by-floor web conference booths. Together with the Kamimaezu KD Building, these acquisitions support CENTRAL REIT’s regional REIT strategy, deepen ties with Chubu-based financial institutions and sponsors, and aim to enhance portfolio stability through higher office weighting and improved geographic diversification between the Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and other areas.
