Central Garden & Pet: Shareholders Elect Directors, Approve Auditor

Central Garden & Pet (CENT) has released an update.

At the recent Annual Meeting, stockholders voted on key corporate decisions, including the election of nine directors to serve for the next year and the ratification of Deloitte & Touche LLP as the independent auditor for the upcoming fiscal year. Each class of stock, Common and Class B, has a different voting power, with all shareholders voting in unison on these matters. The elected directors and the approval of the accounting firm were decisive, reflecting strong shareholder participation and agreement on the proposals presented.
