Centamin has announced a court-approved acquisition by AngloGold Ashanti, involving a cash and share transaction for all of Centamin’s shares. The deal is progressing with trading of Centamin shares on the London and Toronto Stock Exchanges set to be suspended in preparation for the final steps of the acquisition.
