The latest announcement is out from CDN Maverick Capital ( (TSE:CDN) ).
CDN Maverick Capital has secured a three-year Authorization of impact-causing exploration work permit from Québec’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests, clearing the way for diamond drilling at its 100%-owned Nottaway Property, about 75 km north-northeast of Matagami. The program will target highly conductive, yet previously untested, electromagnetic anomalies that were identified in earlier work but missed by prior drill holes, despite those holes already returning anomalous zinc, copper, lead, silver and gold values.
Nottaway is prospective for volcanogenic massive sulphide mineralization within the Opatica Subprovince, and a historic reinterpretation indicates that several subsurface conductors and a high-conductivity Maxwell plate remain effectively untested. By moving ahead with refined drilling on these targets, Maverick aims to unlock potential VMS mineralization, which could materially enhance the value of its critical minerals portfolio and strengthen its positioning within the North American battery metals and base metals exploration space.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:CDN) stock is a Sell with a C$0.25 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on CDN Maverick Capital stock, see the TSE:CDN Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on TSE:CDN Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSE:CDN is a Neutral.
The score is primarily held back by weak financial performance (recurring losses and negative operating/free cash flow), with only partial offset from a low-debt balance sheet. Technicals are mixed-to-neutral, and valuation lacks support due to a negative P/E and no dividend.
