The Commonwealth Bank of Australia has announced the appointment of Kate Howitt as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective from October 2024. Kate Howitt brings extensive experience in strategy and capital management to the CBA Board, enhancing its corporate expertise. Additionally, Anne Templeman-Jones will retire from the Board after the 2024 AGM, with Peter Harmer set to become the new Chair of the Board Audit Committee.
