The latest announcement is out from finnCap Group plc ( (GB:CAV) ).

Cavendish plc reported that group revenues for the year to 31 March 2026 were broadly flat at about £56m, but the business remained consistently profitable in both halves and maintained a strong, debt-free balance sheet with £19.2m of net cash. The firm offset a challenging equity issuance environment with solid performance in public markets, including buoyant equity trading and investment company revenues, net client growth and stable fee levels, while private market revenues dipped as average deal sizes shrank even though deal volumes and fee quality held up.

Management highlighted that diversification of revenue streams, disciplined cost control and improved client origination and retention are positioning Cavendish for a return to sustainable growth as market conditions recover. Entering FY27 with a strengthening pipeline, higher recurring retainers, enhanced equity distribution and fully staffed regional offices, the group aims to lift revenue per head and expand mid-market private M&A activity, even as geopolitical tensions, macro uncertainty and AI-related market debate temper sentiment and keep the firm focused on operational flexibility and resilience.

The most recent analyst rating on (GB:CAV) stock is a Buy with a £10.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on finnCap Group plc stock, see the GB:CAV Stock Forecast page.
