An announcement from Cavalier Resources Limited ( (AU:CVR) ) is now available.
Cavalier Resources has signed a revised non-binding funding package for its Crawford Gold Project, comprising a US$13 million gold prepay facility with Raptor Capital International and an indicative A$5 million gold loan facility with Ottomin. The combined package is intended to fund Stage 1 open pit development, as well as resource growth and extensional drilling at Crawford.
Under the Raptor agreement, Cavalier will receive US$13 million in exchange for delivering 6,265 ounces of gold at US$2,075 per ounce, plus granting Raptor rights to buy up to 50,000 additional ounces from heap leach production at a small discount to spot and further life-of-mine offtake at spot pricing. The Ottomin facility will be repaid in cash over 12 months and compensated via 1,166 ounces of gold from Stage 1 production, alongside equity options, with both structures collectively reducing committed gold deliveries by about 52% and yielding estimated cost savings of roughly A$43 million versus the previous funding proposal.
Management says the enlarged and restructured package boosts funding certainty and project economics, providing headroom for higher capital and operating costs while maintaining development timelines. The company and its funding partners will now move to formal binding documentation, with the revised terms signalling improved capital efficiency and potentially enhanced value for shareholders despite a softer gold price environment.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:CVR) stock is a Hold with a A$0.26 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Cavalier Resources Limited stock, see the AU:CVR Stock Forecast page.
