The latest announcement is out from Cauldron Energy ( (AU:CXU) ).
Cauldron Energy has secured two co-funded grants totalling up to $217,750 from the Western Australian Government’s Exploration Incentive Scheme to advance exploration at its Yanrey Uranium Project. The funding, which includes an additional allowance to offset higher international costs, marks the company’s first success under the scheme and highlights renewed state support for uranium exploration.
One grant of up to $78,500 will support 200 line kilometres of passive seismic surveying between the Bennet Well and Manyingee North deposits to better define the palaeochannel network hosting uranium mineralisation. A second grant of up to $89,250 will fund first-pass drilling of specific targets in the Ashburton East region, following successful trial seismic work in 2025 that helped lead to the discovery of the Manyingee North deposit.
The dual grants underscore government recognition of the importance and uniqueness of Cauldron’s uranium exploration activities and their potential contribution to the Western Australian economy. For Cauldron, the support provides both validation of its technical approach and additional capital to accelerate exploration across a key stretch of the Early Cretaceous coastline within the Yanrey Uranium Province.
