Cathay Pacific Soars with June Traffic Surge

Cathay Pacific Airways (HK:0293) has released an update.

Cathay Pacific Airways has reported a robust increase in passenger and cargo traffic for June 2024, with passenger numbers surging by 18.7% and cargo by 12% compared to the previous year. The airline achieved a record daily passenger count since the pandemic on June 30, 2024, with significant growth in both long-haul and short-haul travel, buoyed by seasonal travel and returning student traffic. However, despite the positive trends, passenger load factor and cargo load factor saw a slight decline.
