Cathay Pacific Experiences Post-Pandemic Traffic Surge

Cathay Pacific Airways (HK:0293) has released an update.

Cathay Pacific Airways has reported a significant increase in passenger and cargo traffic for July 2024. The airline saw over two million passengers in July, the highest since the pandemic, with passenger numbers for the first seven months up by 32.5% and cargo tonnage by 10.3% compared to the previous year. The growth is attributed to the strong demand for long-haul flights and the popularity of destinations in Japan, Southeast Asia, and Paris during the Olympic Games.
