VT Holdings’ subsidiary Caterham and Yamaha Motor are joining forces to develop a new electric vehicle (EV) sports coupe, known as Project V, targeted at combining Caterham’s fun-to-drive ethos with innovative e-axle technology from Yamaha. After debuting the concept at high-profile car shows, Caterham is working on a prototype, expected by mid-2025, with Yamaha contributing key powertrain components and motion control expertise.
