Catalyst Metals Limited ( (AU:CYL) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Catalyst Metals has completed mining at the Trident open pit on the Plutonic Gold Belt, a project designed primarily as a low-cost, low-risk box-cut to access the higher-grade Trident underground orebody. With open pit operations finished broadly on time and on budget, stockpiled ore will be trucked and blended through the underutilised Plutonic processing plant over the remainder of 2026.
The company will now establish the portal and commence decline development at Trident, targeting first underground stoping ore in 2027 and an anticipated production rate of about 60,000 ounces per year for roughly a decade. Trident underground will become the fourth mine feeding the Plutonic hub, underpinning Catalyst’s strategy to build multiple ore sources to double gold output to around 200,000 ounces annually and de-risk expansion through an experienced development team and existing infrastructure.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:CYL) stock is a Buy with a A$15.13 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Catalyst Metals Limited stock, see the AU:CYL Stock Forecast page.
