The latest announcement is out from Castile Resources Ltd ( (AU:CST) ).

Castile Resources has advanced the bankable feasibility study for its Rover 1 project, launching preliminary pilot plant testing across the full processing circuit, including gravity gold recovery, pressure oxidation and paste-fill work using tailings. The company aims to produce high-purity 4N bismuth from its own downstream facility and will generate gold, copper, bismuth, cobalt and magnetite product samples for prospective customers and financiers to support funding and offtake discussions.

The BFS now incorporates a 41% uplift in the October 2025 mineral resource estimate and higher prevailing prices for key metals, while key geotechnical, accommodation and underground mining cost studies progressed during the quarter. Exploration planning is also advancing, with upgraded passive seismic equipment ready for redeployment, new IOCG drill targets defined for the 2026 field season, and a rig scheduled to commence drilling in early May.

On the corporate front, Castile completed an $8.4 million equity placement with strong institutional and professional investor support, bolstering its cash balance to about $9.8 million at 31 March 2026 and leaving it well funded to finish the BFS and exploration drilling. The company’s data room remains active with financiers and potential partners, while broader regional interest was underscored by Pan African Resources’ latest acquisition and Castile’s participation in the Austrade-led critical minerals delegation at InterBattery 2026 in Seoul.
