Cascades Inc. has announced Hugues Simon as the new President and CEO, succeeding Mario Plourde who will retire after over 11 years of leadership. Simon, with a history of executive roles, notably as President of the Wood Products business at Resolute Forest Products, brings over 30 years of manufacturing sector experience to his new position at Cascades. The transition will be supported by Plourde until December 2024, ensuring stability and continuity for the company’s future.
