The latest update is out from Cascade Copper Corp. ( (TSE:CASC) ).
Cascade Copper reported encouraging portable XRF results from 45 additional bedrock chip samples taken along 3.7 kilometres of strike at its Copper Plateau Porphyry project in south-central British Columbia. Eleven samples returned moderately to highly anomalous values, including up to 1.46% copper, 679.4 ppm molybdenum and 88.6 g/t silver, with most samples collected from outcrops within strong soil anomaly trends extending beyond the historically drilled Main Mineralized Zone.
Management said the work confirms a bedrock source for copper-molybdenum-silver soil anomalies under thin glacial till, strengthening the case for expansion targets along strike of the main zone. The company plans hyperspectral scanning of all samples, a comprehensive relog and resampling of historic drill core, and an induced polarization survey as it advances permitting for diamond drilling and further geophysical work to refine future drill targets.
