Carlyle Commodities Corp has successfully completed the initial tranche of a private placement, raising $120,000 through the sale of 2.4 million units at $0.05 each. The funds are earmarked for the development of Carlyle’s flagship Newton Project in British Columbia and for general corporate purposes. The units sold include one common share and one purchase warrant, which allows the holder to buy additional shares at $0.10 within a 36-month period.
