Card Factory ( (GB:CARD) ) has issued an update.
Card Factory has launched an irrevocable, non-discretionary share repurchase programme of up to £15 million, funded from excess cash generated in FY26 under its capital allocation policy. The buyback, which starts immediately and runs until 31 January 2027 subject to renewed shareholder authority in June, is solely intended to reduce share capital, signalling confidence in cash generation and offering potential value accretion for shareholders.

As of the announcement date, Card Factory has 351,595,922 issued ordinary shares, of which 5,717,911 are held in treasury, leaving 345,878,011 voting shares outstanding and providing the base against which the buyback’s impact on capital structure will be measured.
