Capricorn Metals Ltd ( (AU:CMM) ) has shared an update.
Capricorn Metals Ltd has secured financial reporting relief from ASIC for its wholly owned subsidiary Warriedar Resources for the 2026 financial year. The decision reflects Warriedar’s transition from a former ASX-listed disclosing entity to a fully owned subsidiary following its acquisition by Capricorn in November 2025.
Under the relief, Warriedar is exempt from preparing a standalone audited financial report, directors’ report and auditor’s report for FY26, and from reporting separately to its shareholders. Capricorn will instead incorporate Warriedar’s financial performance into its FY26 consolidated accounts, which is expected to lower compliance costs and internal workload while avoiding potentially misleading standalone accounts.
The relief is conditional on Warriedar entering a deed of cross guarantee with Capricorn as holding entity and complying with technical conditions similar to those in ASIC’s standard instrument. It applies only for FY26, after which Warriedar is expected to qualify for the standard relief regime, providing a clearer long term reporting framework for the group and its stakeholders.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:CMM) stock is a Buy with a A$13.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Capricorn Metals Ltd stock, see the AU:CMM Stock Forecast page.
