CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI) has successfully issued the second tranche of its sustainability-linked panda bond, raising RMB1 billion and reaching a record low coupon rate of 2.8% for a three-year bond. This move, which is part of a total RMB2 billion raised, reflects strong investor confidence and contributes to lowering CLI’s financing costs. The funds will be used to refinance existing borrowings and support CLI’s sustainability targets, including reducing energy consumption intensity and achieving Net Zero carbon emissions.
