Long-serving director Chaly Mah Chee Kheong has retired, prompting changes in the leadership of the Audit Committee, Risk Committee and other board-level oversight bodies.
Tan Sri Abdul Farid Alias has been appointed chairman of the Audit Committee while stepping down as chairman, but remaining a member, of the Risk Committee. In turn, Eugene Paul Lai Chin Look has taken over as chairman of the Risk Committee, with the updated committee line-ups designed to maintain compliance with Singapore’s Code of Corporate Governance and reinforce the company’s oversight of audit, risk, sustainability and executive remuneration matters.
