CapitaLand Ascott Trust has announced the issuance of 4,887,249 new stapled securities as part payment of management fees for the first quarter of 2024. The securities were issued to the REIT Manager and BT Trustee-Manager at S$0.9211 each, increasing the total number of stapled securities in issue to 3,786,531,273. This financial move reflects the trust’s ongoing management compensation strategy through equity rather than cash payments.
