Capital & Regional plc has announced the issuance of 8,089,516 new ordinary shares as a scrip dividend option for its shareholders, representing about 3% of its current issued share capital. These shares will be equally ranked with existing shares and are expected to be admitted to the Premium Segment of the UK Listing Authority and listed on both the London and Johannesburg Stock Exchanges. The total number of shares and voting rights in the company will thus increase to 232,996,247 following the admission.
