Capital & Regional plc, a property investment company, has announced that discussions with NewRiver REIT plc regarding a potential takeover offer have led to an extension of the deadline. Originally set for 20 June 2024, the new deadline for NewRiver to declare its intentions is now 18 July 2024. The company highlighted that there is no certainty of a firm offer being made or the terms of any potential offer.
