Capital Drilling ( (GB:CAPD) ) has provided an update.
Capital Limited reported flat 2025 revenue of $345.8 million but sharply higher profitability, driven by strong investment gains and improved margins. Net profit after tax jumped to $71 million from $17 million, while adjusted EBITDA rose modestly and operational earnings were broadly stable, as lower capex and reduced net debt strengthened the balance sheet and underpinned an unchanged full-year dividend.
Operationally, the group grew its rig fleet and utilisation, advanced new mining contracts at Sukari and Reko Diq, and delivered record results at MSALABS, which expanded its global lab footprint and technology offering. The investment portfolio more than tripled in value to $97.5 million, and guidance for 2026 points to about 23% revenue growth, with higher capex to support ramp-ups in mining, new laboratories, and additional rigs, signalling continued expansion across its key service lines.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:CAPD) stock is a Hold with a £141.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Capital Drilling stock, see the GB:CAPD Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on CAPD Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, CAPD is a Outperform.
Capital Drilling’s strong cash flow generation and positive technical indicators are significant strengths, supporting a favorable outlook. The recent equity raise further enhances growth potential. However, concerns about declining revenue growth and operational margins, along with moderate valuation metrics, slightly temper the overall score.
