Capita plc Sells Software Unit, General Meeting Adjourned

Capita plc (GB:CPI) has released an update.

Capita plc has announced the sale of its standalone software business, Capita One, to Orchard Information Systems Limited, a subsidiary of MRI Software, LLC, with the transaction expected to complete by the end of August. The originally scheduled general meeting for shareholder approval has been adjourned indefinitely due to recent changes in Listing Rules, making such approval no longer necessary. Barclays Bank PLC is serving as the sole financial advisor and sponsor for the deal.
