An update from Capita plc ( (GB:CPI) ) is now available.
Capita plc has appointed Daniel Wosner, managing director and head of Europe at major shareholder Oasis Management, as a non-executive director with effect from its annual general meeting. The board highlighted his investment and capital markets expertise, as well as his alignment with Capita’s Better Capita strategy focused on simplifying the business, boosting efficiency and integrating AI and technology.
Following Wosner’s appointment, Capita said its board remains compliant with the UK Corporate Governance Code, with a majority of independent directors and no committee role for the new appointee. The company has also entered into a relationship agreement with Oasis that ties the investor’s board representation to maintaining a stake between 10% and 20%, underscoring closer engagement with a key shareholder while setting governance and stability parameters through to at least the 2027 AGM.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:CPI) stock is a Buy with a £450.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Capita plc stock, see the GB:CPI Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on CPI Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, CPI is a Neutral.
The score is driven primarily by weak financial performance (recent loss, margin compression, high leverage and thin equity, and poor free-cash-flow generation) and bearish technicals (price below major moving averages with negative momentum). Valuation provides limited offset given the negative P/E and no dividend yield data.
