Cantex Mine Development Corp. has announced a temporary halt to their exploration activities at the North Rackla project, complying with a request from the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun. The suspension is in response to environmental concerns arising from a nearby mine’s leach pad failure and regional forest fires. The company expresses solidarity with those affected and anticipates resuming operations shortly.
