Canamera Energy Metals Corp ( (TSE:EMET) ) has shared an announcement.
Canamera Energy Metals Corp. has completed an 11-hole, 78-metre auger drill program as part of due diligence on its Patos rare earth element project in Minas Gerais, Brazil, ahead of a decision on acquiring an option for full project ownership. The program intersected the expected kamafugite-derived regolith sequence associated with ionic clay-hosted REE mineralization, and 66 samples have been sent to SGS Geosol for multi-element analysis, with results to guide the company’s acquisition decision and potentially strengthen its position in Brazil’s emerging rare earths district.
Drilling confirmed a stratigraphic profile of Red Latosol, ferruginous crust, laterite and saprolitic, kaolin-rich zones believed to derive from a kamafugite host, providing a complete cross-section of the targeted mineralized horizon in several of the deepest holes. Despite challenging weather and geotechnical conditions, the field team completed the program on schedule under strict sampling and QA/QC protocols, positioning Canamera to evaluate the Patos project’s potential and its strategic fit within the growing Mata da Corda rare earths camp once assay data are received.
Spark’s Take on EMET Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, EMET is a Neutral.
The score is held down primarily by very weak financial performance (no revenue, sharply higher TTM losses and cash burn) and bearish technicals (price below all key moving averages with negative MACD and weak RSI). A low-debt balance sheet provides some stability, but negative earnings and lack of dividend support limit valuation appeal.
