Canadian Utilities’ Major Energy Project in Alberta

Canadian Utilities A (TSE:CU) has released an update.

Canadian Utilities Limited’s ATCO Energy Systems is set to launch the Yellowhead Mainline, a transformative energy infrastructure project in Alberta, which promises to bolster the natural gas network, support low-emission technologies, and stimulate economic growth. Expected to create around 2,000 construction jobs and enable over $20 billion in further investment, the project will enhance energy security for Alberta’s expanding population and industries. With an anticipated completion date in Q4 2027, the project represents a significant commitment to Alberta’s future, with a $2 billion investment in a new 200-kilometer natural gas pipeline and associated facilities.
