The latest update is out from Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund.Inc. ( (JP:9284) ).

Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund reported that its portfolio of 35 solar plants, with 247.57 MW of module output, generated 25,031,321 kWh in March 2026, or 103.64% of forecast, driven by generally stable irradiance and despite some temporary output curtailments by grid operators. Across the fiscal period to June 2026 so far, actual generation has exceeded forecasts by about 2.86 million kWh, resulting in significant CO2 reductions and underscoring the resilience and performance of the fund’s solar portfolio even under curtailment conditions.

The March data show that while some individual plants underperformed due to curtailments or local conditions, others materially outpaced expectations, with several sites exceeding 110% of forecast output. This dispersion highlights both the operational risk from grid-driven curtailments and the portfolio’s geographic and asset diversification benefits, which helped sustain overall outperformance and support revenue visibility for unitholders.

Over the three months from January to March 2026, the fund’s assets produced 61,091,022 kWh, surpassing the projected 58,233,447 kWh, and achieved a CO2 reduction of more than 25.5 million kilograms. For investors and other stakeholders, the figures reinforce the fund’s positioning as a stable, environmentally focused infrastructure vehicle in Japan’s renewable energy market, even as system operators increasingly manage solar output to maintain grid stability.
