Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund, Inc. is set to acquire the CS Sakura-shi Power Plant, a solar energy facility in Chiba, from Saturn Infra Fund G.K. The acquisition, which is part of CSIF’s strategy to expand and diversify its portfolio, will be funded by cash on hand and is anticipated to close on August 30, 2024. CSIF plans to manage the asset by leasing it to a bankruptcy-remote SPC, aligning with its operational goals and asset management policies.
