Fertoz ( (AU:CP8) ) has shared an announcement.
Canadian Phosphate Ltd has strengthened its board by appointing veteran mining executive Peter Doyle as a non-executive director, adding more than three decades of experience in exploration, planning, development and production. Based in Canada and currently leading Evolve Power, Doyle brings a track record in greenfield and brownfield mine development and extensive exposure to ASX-listed companies and North American resource markets.
The appointment comes as Canadian Phosphate prepares 2026 exploration and drilling programs at its wholly owned Wapiti and Fernie phosphate projects in British Columbia, aligning its mine-to-market strategy with the growing strategic importance of domestic fertilizer and critical mineral supply in North America. Management highlighted Doyle’s Canadian operating experience and stakeholder and government relations expertise as critical to advancing the company’s next phase of growth.
